More than a service...


Turas Nua proudly delivers the National Employment Service for 13 counties in the south of Ireland, and the Local Area Employment Service for Laois and Offaly, on behalf of the Department of Social Protection. These employment activation schemes empower jobseekers to work towards securing and sustaining full-time paid employment or explore self-employment.


We're more than a service; we're a catalyst for transformation. With a focus on improving our communities, we provide tailored support, training, and guidance to nurture individuals for success.


We are a proud member of the FRS Co-Op, emerging with a deep connection to its roots as an agricultural cooperative. What began as a locally-driven need to pool resources to help others, has carried through to what Turas Nua is today.


We have evolved into a leading public service provider dedicated to employability and skills development, and we remain guided by the belief that every individual's journey is unique and deserving of respect, support, and personalised attention.

Our team

Turas Nua Awarded ISO Certification

Turas Nua was awarded ISO 9001:2015 Certification in August 2022 for our Quality Management System, specifically covering our National Employment Service (NES) and Local Area Employment Service (LAES) contracts.


What is ISO 9001 and why has it been introduced?

The international ISO 9001 standard, also called the Quality Management System, is an internationally recognised standard for providing a service that consistently meets customer and regulatory requirements.
